Q: Why can't my netboot clients boot since I went to System Software Release 2.0? I get a strange trap error while loading mach.\
\
A: There is a problem with netbooting 2.0 030 and 040 clients in networks that have certain network equipment installed or are running special monitoring protocols. If you see a message like the following when you attempt to netboot a client machine in verbose mode, you are effected by this bug:\
\
\f3\fs20\fc0 Requesting BOOTP info . [OK]\
Booting /private/tftpboot/mach from servername\
........i1i1i1 trap 2 at pc 0x438760e sr:0x2600\

\f0\fs28 At this time there is a workaround in the form of a replacement boot program. The fix is available from NeXT Technical Support.\
